EMS Mascot Yan
Maayan (Yan for short), Bruce Mandel's 6
year old Labrador, is the official mascot of the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He has
been on duty for three years, and is assigned to the Emergency Medical Services Bike Team.
Bruce says, "His embroidered red reflective ID Cape makes him extremely noticeable when he is on duty at parades and special events. As a public relations tool, nothing seems to be more impressive than the cape he wears proudly."
Yan's ID Cape was customized by an embroidery company near Bruce with the words: 'YAN'
Hoboken EMS Bike Team. His cape also sports an official EMS patch.
