Gear for Service and Therapy Dogs


We make a line of capes (also called vests) and patches for service dogs, therapy dogs, hearing dogs, and other working dogs. After more than two decades of outfitting thousands of very special dogs, Wolf Packs has decided to concentrate on the production side of this product line. The dog equipment specialists at SitStay.com handle all retail orders for our ID Capes and related patches. Dog training organizations may continue to order directly from Wolf Packs (we reserve the right to refuse service or goods to anyone).

Identification Capes

Wolf Packs ID Cape dog vest
Our ID Cape is designed to be comfortable when worn all day long. This item is made from two layers of durable Cordura Plus nylon. It slips over the head and attaches on the side with a plastic side-release buckle. All of our ID Capes now come with two zipper closed pockets and reflective trim for nighttime safety. Our ID Capes are designed to sport many different combinations of patches, or you can have them customized by an embroidery company near you. This item is made in the USA.

Please Don't Pet Me (3½" round patch)

Don't Pet Me patch
Our "Please Don't Pet Me" patch measures 3½ inches across. It is embroidered in two colors on a white background. In black it reads "Please Don't Pet Me" around the top. On the bottom it continues with "I'm Working". There is a black embroidered image of a hand in the center with a red circle-slash through it. This is the international symbol for "DO NOT". This design clearly communicates do not pet to the public. The entire patch is edged with red embroidery.

Our "Ask to Pet Me" patch measures 3½ inches across. It is embroidered in three colors on a white background. In black it reads "Ask To Pet Me" around the top. On the bottom it continues with "I'm Friendly". There is an embroidered image of a white puppy with a happy wagging tail in the center. An inviting green circle surrounds this image. The entire patch is edged with green embroidery.

I Am A Service Dog (3½" round patch)

I Am A Service Dog patch
Our "I Am A Service Dog" patch measures 3½ inches across. It is embroidered in two colors on a white background. In black it reads "I Am A" around the top. On the bottom it continues with "Service Dog". An embroidered image of a golden caduceus (the universal symbol for medicine) in the center has a royal blue circle surrounding it. The entire patch is edged with royal blue embroidery.

A word about patches...
You can sew our functional patches directly onto your gear, or combine them with Velcro in order to easily change the type of service indicated on the equipment. Also, customers have reported that they've had success using a strong glue (such as Gorilla Glue) to secure their patches to fabric.
