The Banzai™ dog pack is Wolf Packs’ top of the line design. Features on this pack include tough Ballistic nylon bush guards double as handy outer pockets that zip closed. Horizontal compression straps squeeze the load forward, toward the dog’s shoulders (the strongest part of a dog’s back). 3M Scotchlite reflective trim assures that your dog is visible to night time traffic. We use tough Cordura Plus nylon fabric for this pack.

The Banzai is available in Red, Forest Green, Royal Blue, Purple, and Orange. Ballistic nylon is always black. This item is made in the USA.

Please measure your dog! Our sizes run larger than you might think. Prior to ordering, please review our Fitting Your Dog page, so that you will choose the correct size.

It was simply amazing…the package arrived in the mail, I brought it inside. All I said to Jedediah (167 lb Rottweiler, 2 yr old), was “look what Mommy got for you!” and he ran over, flipped my hand away from the backpack as I tried to pull it out of the box and then stuck his nose and head into it! It appeared he was trying to put it on himself! He wiggled and wagged his stub so hard, I barely could get it strapped on – he was so anxious to go out and get the mail – his new job. This is now his 6 day a week task, each night when I come home from work. Our driveway is 500′ long and we live in the Maine woods – he happily jogs the whole way!

I just wanted to thank you for the exceptional customer service. I really appreciated the personal attention and recommendation. My boy does love his pack and it fits perfectly. We truly enjoyed our walks before, but they are even better now. Best wishes.

I bought a Banzai back in 2008 for my dog Honey. She wore it on every backpacking trip for almost 10 years! It is solidly made and lasted the test of time. She passed this summer and now I’m buying a new pack for my new and slightly larger dog (who doesn’t fit the old pack). Can’t wait to get out on the trail with her!

Well, after almost 24 years, from his 1999 Thru-Hike on the A.T., “Sky’s” pack has finally succumbed to the elements at the seams. Gotta say, not a bad run for a hard used pack. It was built strong and holds many memories. Built so strong, in fact, that it even saved his life once, when It was the only hand-hold I could get to when a swollen river almost swept him away once, up in Maine. “Sky” is long gone over the Rainbow, but his spirit sister “River” has used it to carry her goods until recently…and she’s 10 now. We all know that nothing lasts forever, but this Wolf Pack lasted far beyond my expectations and will remain a trophy that hangs on the wall among the Hiking Sticks, the photos, and the well used gear. So, I guess it will last forever, actually. I could not recommend a better Dog Pack than this. Perfectly designed for these active Border Collies of mine. I’m getting my sweet “Riv” a new one of her own now, because she still has some miles left to explore, and I’m pleased to see that not much has changed in the design, as far as I can tell. I see no need to change a good thing. You guys make a great product. Thank you for that. Now, all I need to do is choose her color.

Excellent backpack for working dogs / service dogs! This backpack was gifted to me in 2021 when my service dog graduated from his training school. The pockets are roomy, and I like that the pack offers a few different zippered pockets to separate my items. The cinch straps are especially useful for keeping items in place or condensing the backpack if it isn’t filled. The reflective striping is really useful at night. We sewed on velcro spots for patches along the spine and tops of the saddle bags. We chose the Large backpack in orange for my GSD. The backpack still looks brand new after two years of use.
